High performance spindle
Due to the integration of the motor into the spindle, vibrations, noise and losses of performance at high speeds are reduced to a minimum. The spindle oil is delivered directly to the spindle bearing in order to ensure optimum lubrication. In order to minimise the thermal expansion of the spindle, temperature controlled oil continuously flows around the spindle cover. In order to obtain the highest possible degree of precision, the temperature of the spindle and the expansion of the spindle are compensated for on the control side in real time.
High precision feed drives
Even in the case of difficult workpieces, the feed drives and linear roller guideways guarantee continuous and stable movement. Due to the directly driven ball screws, power transmission is as rigid and inelastic as possible. The machine feeds the linear guideways and ball screws with lubricant at regular intervals.
B axis drive
Due to the extremely precise worm drive and the hydraulic clamps, the B axis has an extremely high torque and high stability, which are important during roughing and drilling.
