The Hi-TECH 550 is equipped with a particularly solid tool turret, guaranteeing maximum stability, accuracy and performance even during hard turning.
Heavy duty cutting with box guideways and gear spindle: The Hi-TECH 550 is equipped with very wide box guideways, making it ideal for the heavy duty cutting and machining of particularly hard and tough materials. Various bed lengths (up to 3.2 m), a programmable tail stock and the use of one or more steady rests allow the machining of particularly long workpieces. With the optional linear scales, which provide absolute measurements, you can achieve the highest levels of precision. The rapid revolver indexing time of just 0.2 seconds per station is also an advantage in terms of its efficiency.

Stable and fast turret indexing
The turret of the Hi-TECH 550 has a very high clamping force and takes only 0.2 s to change to the next tool.
Programmable tail stock (Standard)
The tail stock can be programmed or controlled using the foot switch.
Steady rest (optional)
The machines can be equipped with steady rests for particularly long workpieces.
Wide turret (optional)
A wider version of the Hi-TECH 550 turret can also be ordered. This has 12 stations, each of which has two tool holders, one behind the other. This means that long tools can be held in two holders, which has a positive impact on the cutting process in terms of stability and rigidity.
