Dynamic twin turret lathe with 8 inch chuck: The T2 provides high performance, dynamism and reliability with a small footprint and many options for automation. If complex workpieces need to be produced in large numbers, the upper and lower turrets can be used in parallel.
Both turrets have 12 tool stations (BMT-65), which can also be equipped with driven tools. Its rapid indexing time of just 0.1 s per station and the high drive power of the integrated 7.5 kW servomotor reduce non-productive time to a minimum and maximise your efficiency.

The high torque of the integrated 477 Nm spindle motor and the particularly good damping properties of the machine bed permit high cutting rates and long tool life. All drives, both in the turrets and in the spindles, are actively cooled and thus reduce thermal growth in the FEM-optimised machine bed. This ensures the consistent accuracy of the T2 during operation over multiple shifts and during continuous operation.

In order to fulfil their high standards of quality, Hwacheon also focuses on vertical integration in the case of the T2. Because for us, there is only one standard of quality: the best.
The T2 turning centre thus incorporates a turret, motor spindle and a bed designed and manufactured by Hwacheon.
