Cycle-controlled Lathes

The flat bed lathes in the MEGA series have been specially developed for the production of very small batches, repair jobs and particularly heavy and large workpieces. In addition to numerical control, which can be programmed using extremely straightforward cutting cycles, the machines in the MEGA series also have hand wheels, so that they can also be operated the same way as a conventional lathe. The high drive power and very broad box guideways of our flat bed machines guarantee a stable and efficient cutting process. Our MEGA series covers workpiece diameters from Ø720 mm up to very large workpieces of Ø2,700 mm, with 17 metres between centres and workpiece weights of up to 40 tonnes.
