AF-4

The powerful high-speed spindle with 15,000 rpm offers a rated power of 37 kW and a rated torque of 303 Nm. Thanks to the high rigidity of the machine, the spindle power and torque are optimally utilized even for heavy-duty machining and the processing of non-ferrous materials. The AF-4 machining center is equipped with numerous technologies to reduce non-productive times. Particularly noteworthy is the backlash-free NC rotary table, which is clamped by two worm gears and has a ring diameter of 630 mm.

This extremely stable rotary table enables 90° indexing in just 1.4 seconds, which significantly reduces non-productive times. The fast tool changer with a chip-to-chip time of just 4.6 seconds provides an additional productivity boost.

The standard tool magazine with automatic tool changer can optionally be equipped with a mechanical tool breakage detection system that reliably monitors drills, taps and other single-edged tools.

As an option, the AF-4 is also available with a high-speed spindle of 20,000 rpm and a nominal torque of 221 Nm.

All spindles are developed and manufactured in-house. They are equipped with the proven oil-air lubrication and cooling system, including active temperature monitoring for the spindle and machine bed, to ensure maximum reliability and precision.
