Machining centres for tool, die and mould making demand the highest standards in terms of accuracy, surface finish and dynamics. Not only must they be powerful, they must also be flexible in order to machine a wide variety of mould and die inserts, prototypes, models and serial tools. At Hwacheon, we have decades of experience in this discipline and are market leaders in Korea.

We are able to ensure this by using carefully aligned components such as hand-scraped box guideways, milling spindles which we design and produce ourselves, and cutting-edge software.

H - Series

Horizontal machining centres with extremely high performance and stability

By means of twin drives on the X and Y axes, very wide box guideways and 30-tonne machine beds, the series constituted by the H6 and H8 (630 mm and 800 mm pallets) ensures high precision and high cutting rates. Gear spindles of 8,000 rpm and 1,653 Nm and motor spindles of 12,000 rpm and 420 Nm are available.

M - Series

Extremely robust 5-axis simultaneous milling machine for workpieces of up to 1.2 t

The gantry-based construction and rotary table allow the M series to reach rapid traverse speeds of up to 50 m/min. Three types, with table sizes of D500, D700 and D800 are available. The M3 and M4 models allow dynamic table movements on the Y axis and have twin drives which can accept workpiece weights of up to 1.2 t.
