The through-portal design ensures that the table moves under a stable portal, guaranteeing the highest precision and rigidity. For demanding finishing tasks, the 5AX variants with a fork head and integrated A- and C-axes are designed. They enable work with angular positions and the machining of workpiece sides, significantly reducing or even eliminating manual polishing.
With in-house developed and manufactured high-performance spindles, preloaded ball screw spindles, and linear systems of the highest precision, the SIRIUS series is synonymous with reliability and performance. Direct measuring systems (glass scales) guarantee exceptional contour and positioning accuracy. Intelligent thermal sensors and active oil cooling ensure constant working temperatures and maximum stability. The SIRIUS-1350 also excels with custom-made flat guides that, thanks to a Turcite coating and integrated lubrication and air grooves, allow for smooth and precise motion.
