The Hi-TECH 700 is designed for large workpieces and materials which are difficult to cut. The stable turret, the primary gear unit and the monolithic, solid cast iron bed with cast on and ground box guideways are superbly suited to machining particularly hard and tough materials.
The 45° slant bed has been constructed in order to ensure maximum rigidity and precision with minimal thermal distortion during continuous operation. The automatic gears ensure an enormous torque at low speeds.

Wide turret (optional)
A wider version of the Hi-TECH 700 turret can also be ordered. This has 12 stations, each of which has two tool holders, one behind the other. This means that long tools can be held in two holders, which has a positive impact on the cutting process in terms of stability and rigidity.
