Large-scale high performance turning centre
The machine bed, which is slanted at 45°, ensures optimal swarf removal and thus reduced heat input. For a maximum degree of stability and precision, all linear axes are provided with box guideways. Due to the main spindle’s transmission gearbox, the Hi-TECH 850 also provides a very high torque at lower speeds. High-power machining is equally possible at higher speeds. The optional Y axis allows you to deal with particularly complex workpiece geometries.

Optionally, the Hi-TECH 850 can also be fitted with a steady rest for the optimal machining of long and heavy workpieces.
Spindle with upstream drive
The four-speed transmission on the main spindle provides an enormous torque, especially at lower speeds. The lubrication and cooling of the bearing is carried out by means of Hwacheon’s unique oil cooling system. The temperature of the drive is regulated continuously in order to minimise heat expansion, increasing precision over longer machining times and heavy duty cutting tasks.

The large number of optional features allows you to configure your machine according to your requirements in terms of performance and precision.
Wide turret (optional)
A wider version of the Hi-TECH 850 turret can also be ordered. This has 12 stations, each of which has two tool holders, one behind the other. This means that long tools can be held in two holders, which has a positive impact on the cutting process in terms of stability and rigidity.
